As long as your not using this for sports images the focus speed is very good and the length of the zoom is excellent. Works very well with my rebel. the price is great for the lens and extras. The only reason it gets four stars not five is the uv filter. I would recommned this to anyone looking for a good starter zoom lens. Priced in stores and this is by far the best deal available.
